This session of the course focuses entirely on facial surgery for the treatment of pathological conditions and complications associated with dental diseases that affect the nasal cavities, ear, and eye.

- anatomy of the nasal and paranasal cavities, of the oropharynx and rhinopharynx;

- diagnostic imaging (radiography, CT scan, MRI, and rhinoscopy);

- step-by-step procedure for performing pararhinostomy;

- step-by-step procedure for performing rhinotomy and rhinostomy;

- postoperative care, follow-up, and complications.

This advanced and visually oriented extensive lecture focuses on surgical techniques for the treatment of pathologic conditions of the eye associated with dental disease. The subtopics include the following:

- surgical anatomy of the eye;

- prolapse of the deep gland of the third eyelid;

- a practical session on surgery of the eye globe (enucleation and exenteration) with videos of step-by-step procedures;

- postoperative treatment and follow-up.
